Terms of Service

About this service

Floyd's Love is an educational program that helps you prepare before bringing a dog home. It is not a veterinary service, a training service, or a guarantee of any outcome with a dog. Our content is general guidance, not professional advice for your specific animal.

Your account

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Purchases

Certification, Membership, and Personalized Assessments are paid features. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Membership renews automatically (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period.

The certificate

The Prepared Owner certificate recognizes that you completed the course and signed the pledge. It is not a license, accreditation, or professional credential.

Personalized assessments

Your written assessment is based on the answers you provide and reflects Kerri's professional opinion at the time. It is guidance, not a guarantee that any particular dog or breed will be right for you. You remain responsible for your own decisions.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service — no scraping, reselling content, or submitting harmful or false information. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Limitation of liability

Floyd's Love is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any harm or loss arising from your use of the service or from decisions you make based on it.

Changes

We may update these terms as the program evolves. We'll note the updated date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Floyd's Love is educational. Our lessons, breed guides, and personalized assessments are for general information and preparation only — they are not a substitute for professional veterinary care or advice from a qualified veterinarian or animal behaviorist. Always consult your vet for medical concerns and a qualified professional for behavior issues.
