The guide
Almost every "problem behavior" is a normal dog doing a normal thing at an inconvenient time — or a dog whose needs aren't being met. Puppies bark, bite, chew, and jump because those things work or feel good. The fix is rarely punishment; it's understanding the why and teaching a better option.
Punishment might stop a behavior in the moment, but it teaches fear and often makes things worse — a dog who's punished for growling, for example, may skip the growl and go straight to a bite next time. Kind, clear, and consistent wins.
